Portland Community College

Portland Community College is Oregon's largest community college, and is situated in Portland. There are more than 80,000 students in this college. PCC sprawls over 1,500 acres in northwestern Oregon. It was established in 1961 and offers education in alcohol and drug counseling, aviation science, architectural design, biomedical engineering and Asian studies. There are three major campuses of PCC. They are the following:

  • Rock Creek
  • Sylvania

Portland Community College’s athletics teams are called the Panthers. It is an associate member of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges. It has men's and women's basketball teams which compete against the community colleges of Chemeketa, Lane, Linn-Benton, Clackamas, Mount Hood, Southwestern Oregon, and Umpqua.
