Purdue University- Calumet Campus is a regional campus located in Hammond, Indiana. It is a part of the Purdue University system which was established in 1946 as a public coeducational university. Purdue University Calumet offers over 100 academic programs leading to associate, baccalaureate and master’s degrees. There are also several professional certificate courses. These various programs are taught in 6 schools:

Classes at the Purdue University’s Calumet campus started in 1951. The campus is set on sprawling grounds stretching over 194 acres of land. There are over 9,000 graduates and postgraduates enrolled at the Calumet campus.

The Peregrines, as the Purdue University Calumet’s sports teams are called, have separate teams for basketball, softball, and baseball.
