Ramapo College of New Jersey is a co-educational, public college located in Mahwah, New Jersey. It belongs to the New Jersey system of higher education. It was established in 1969 as a four year college of liberal arts, sciences, and professional studies. The College grants admission to around 5,000 students every year.

Women's teams compete in basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, track & field, tennis and volleyball. The college also has full time cheerleading and dance teams.
