Reading Area Community College, also known as RACC, is a public community college located in Reading, Pennsylvania. The college was established on October 1, 1971 and classes began on October 13, 1971 with an enrollment of only 265 students. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. The student body at RACC is diverse and it includes an impressive number of international students.
RACC’s athletics department fields a wide variety of men’s and women’s sports teams which are nicknamed the Ravens. Front Street Journal is RACC’s student run newspaper. The campus is also home to several student clubs and organizations.
