River Parishes Community College

River Parishes Community College, also known as RPCC, is a part of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System. It was established in 1997 and is located in the Ascension Parish town of Sorrento, Louisiana, close to the Mississippi River. RPCC offers certificate and associate’s degree programs in liberal arts, teaching, general science and general studies.

River Parishes Community College offers financial aid to eligible students. It offers tuition waivers to active National Guard members, Student Government Association officers and to students cross-enrolled at RPCC. It also participates in the Veteran’s Affairs Educational benefit program. Eligible students can apply for Louisiana’s TOPS Scholarship program from the RPCC.
