Rock Valley College, or RVC, is a community college, located in Rockford, Illinois. It was established in 1964. The campus covers 217 acres. Besides its main campus, RVC also operates programs at owned facilities in the Stenstrom Center for Career Education, the Aviation Center, and the Bell School Road Center. The College is home to Bengt Sjostrom Theatre, which is known for its unique retractable roof.

RVC offers a wide variety of programs and degrees in diverse fields of study. It also holds continuing education classes at more than 50 sites situated throughout the district and it operates employment and training programs at the Illinois Employment Training Center.

RVC offers several men's and women's intercollegiate sports and the sports teams are nicknamed the Golden Eagles. They take part in various sports at the NJCAA Division III. The college has won over 100 All-Americans and seven national championships.
