Rockhurst University is a private, coeducational, Jesuit university situated in Kansas City, United States. Rockhurst was chartered by the state as Rockhurst College in the year 1910. The campus spreads across an area of 25 acres of lush landscape. The university offers certificates and programs in diverse areas of study.

Rockhurst University’s athletics department sponsors several men’s and women’s sports teams. The sports teams are nicknamed the Hawks. The men’s sports teams participate in sports such as baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, and soccer. The women’s sports teams compete in baseball, volleyball, soccer, golf, and tennis. The university is a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The campus is also home to several student clubs and organizations.
