Rowan University is a public university located in Glassboro, New Jersey. It was founded in 1923. The campus consists of more than 45 buildings on 200 acres. Rowan University also operates a satellite campus in Camden, New Jersey. The University offers a wide variety of degrees and programs through the following academic divisions:
Rowan University is a member of the NCAA in Division III. Their official mascot is the Owl called "Whoo RU". The University fields more than 15 sports teams. Rowan University's men's soccer team has won national championship titles in 1981 and 1990.
