Rutgers University - New Brunswick/ Piscataway is the largest campus of Rutgers University, and is predominantly located in the city of New Brunswick and the Piscataway Township. It was established on November 10, 1766. This campus is further sub divided into smaller campuses which include College Avenue, Cook/ Douglass, Busch, and Livingston. These campuses include more than 15 undergraduate, graduate and professional schools.

‘The Daily Targum’ is the official and largest student paper at Rutgers University and The Rutgers Centurion is the monthly conservative magazine. The sports teams of Rutgers University - New Brunswick are nicknamed the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, and their official mascot is the Scarlet Knights.
