St. Augustine College, SAC, is an independent, bilingual institution in northern Chicago, Illinois. It has two satellite colleges as well, which are in southern Chicago and west of Chicago. It was established on October 7, 1980, under the guidance of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago and offers certificates, associate’s degrees and bachelor’s degrees. The areas of study are applied sciences, business administration, liberal arts and sciences, culinary arts, counseling, early childhood education and social work.

SAC offers financial aid to needy and deserving students. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission Monetary Award Program is one of the various grants and aids provided to students. SAC also participates in the college work-study program for students. A number of scholarship programs are also offered by the college like the Presidential Scholarship program which is awarded to students who show scholastic promise.
