Salt Lake Community College, or SLCC, is the largest two-year community college in Utah. It was established in 1948. SLCC offers its students more than 100 degree programs in academic, technical, and vocational fields. The college has three campuses and more than ten branches throughout the Salt Lake County, and parts of Tooele County, Utah. The three campuses are:
The athletics department of the college has teams in volleyball, softball, basketball and football to name a few. The sports teams are nicknamed the Bruins and their official mascot is the Bruin Bear. The Bruins have won more than 15 regional and over 10 Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) championships.
