San Antonio College, or SAC, is a comprehensive community college that is a part of the Alamo Community College District. Established in 192, SAC is located on San Pedro Avenue, across the San Pedro Park, near downtown San Antonio. SAC is the oldest two-year public college in Texas. The college campus is 37 acres.

SAC provides academic, vocational and professional education that allow students to pursue their education at a university or a four-year college. It offers more than 60 different associate degrees and over 65 certificate programs.

San Antonio College also publishes "The Ranger", which is an award winning student newspaper.
