Founded in the year 1961, Schoolcraft College is a two year community college located in Livonia, Michigan. It also has a satellite campus in Garden City, Michigan. Schoolcraft College was originally named Northwest Wayne County Community College but the name was later changed because due to its length. It officially became the Schoolcraft College on the 6th of February, 1963.
Schoolcraft College offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse fields of study. It is especially recognized for its culinary arts program and continuing education programs. The Schoolcraft Connection is the student-run campus newspaper.
Schoolcraft College’s sports teams are known as the Ocelots. The college is a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association and the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
