Sheridan Technical Center, also referred to as STC, was established in 1968. This public, 2-year institution is one of 3 Broward County Public Schools, and is located on an 18—acre campus in Hollywood, Florida. More than 1,000 students enroll in STC every year.

Sheridan Technical Center offers around 35 postsecondary workforce development programs and more than 30 vocational certificate programs. Students can choose from courses in the fields of automotive technology, business technology, early childhood education, teacher assisting, nursing, cosmetology, and real estate, among others. Distance education programs are also available.

STC provides a variety of support services to students. Apart from career counseling and job placement assistance, financial aid is also available to help students complete their studies. A number of Federal and State grants are also offered to eligible students.
