The Siena Heights University, founded as the St. Joseph’s College for Women in 1919, is situated in Adrian, Michigan. It was first renamed as Siena Heights College and in 1998, it was rechristened the Siena Heights University. It is a private institute which offers enrollment to more than 2,000 students.

The Siena Heights University offers associate’s, graduate, post-graduate, and specialist’s degrees in a number of academic disciplines. The university operates the Undergraduate College, the Graduate College, and the College of Professional Studies. The university is organized into the following five academic divisions:

  • Division of Business and
  • Division of Computing, Mathematics and the Sciences
  • Division of Humanities
  • Division of Social and Behavioral Science
  • Division of Visual and Performing Arts and Teacher Education

The athletics teams of Siena Heights University are nicknamed the Saints and they participate in basketball, golf, and volleyball. The athletics department of the university is the member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
