SkinScience Institute, located in Lindon Utah, provides comprehensive skin care education. The institute offers the latest training in medical and clinical esthetics. The SkinScience Institute has been accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences.

Areas of Study

The esthetics programs include para-medical training. The programs offer a review of the basic equipment, terminology and treatments utilized in the fields of dermatology and laser and plastic surgery.

The SkinScience Institute of Laser & Esthetics 600 Hour Program is designed to meet most state requirements for a Basic Esthetician license. The institute works with the students to ensure specific educational needs are provided. The program combines plenty of hands-on training in various types of facial treatments along with classroom learning.

The SkinScience Institute of Laser & Esthetics 1200 Hour Masters Course is designed for students with no or very little knowledge about esthetics. The comprehensive program includes hands-on training in a large number of facial treatments along with coursework.

The SkinScience Institute of Laser & Esthetics 600 Hour Masters Course is an intermediate program designed for transfer students who have taken some cosmetology courses or basic esthetic courses at another setting. The program is also designed for licensed estheticians seeking education at a more clinical level. The program blends hands-on training with classroom learning.

Admissions

Admissions office representatives are available to assist applicants with the admissions process. School representatives are available to assist students find appropriate grants and loans such as Pell Grants and Stafford Loans. SkinScience Institute also offers several scholarship options including the Utah High School Graduate Scholarship, The Out-of-State Student Scholarship, Academic Scholarship, Returning Student Scholarship, Esthetics Experience Scholarship and the Licensed Cosmetologist Scholarship.

Faculty

The classes are taught by qualified staff members that have expertise in their teaching field.

Student Body

The student population includes individuals with some prior knowledge and experience in the field. The program includes those seeking to begin a new career. The student body includes residents of Utah and students from other states.

Student Life

Graduates are provided career placement services. School representatives provide a variety of assistance. A lot of the students have busy lives.
