Snead State Community College, popularly referred to as Snead, was founded in 1898, and was initially known as the Boaz Seminary. It became the Snead State Community College in the year 1992. This community college is located in Boaz, Alabama. The college awards associate’s degrees in various streams of study. Programs in adult education and skill training courses are also available. The institution is organized into the following academic divisions:
