South Plains College

South Plains College, or SPC, is a two year community college located in Levelland, Texas. It operates satellite branches in Plainview and at the Reese Technology Center. It also offers distance education, through centers located in Muleshoe, Littlefield, and Denver City. South Plains College offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in several fields of study. It enrolls more than 9,000 students each semester.

Some of the notable alumni of South Plains College are country singers Waylon Jennings, Natalie Maines, and Lee Ann Womack; championship runner for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Sally Kipyego; and NBA players Renaldo Major and Bo Outlaw.

The sports teams of South Plains College are known as the Texans. They are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
