Areas of Study
STVT offers training programs, ranging from six to twelve months in duration, in the following career areas:
STVT admits, as regular students, any person having a high school diploma from an accredited high school or a GED equivalent. Prior to acceptance, an applicant must be interviewed by an admissions representative; complete an enrollment agreement; and submit any other information that may be required. Applicants should contact the school or one of its admissions representatives.
Faculty members are highly qualified professionals committed to providing outstanding education to their students. Instructors provide the hands-on technical and vocational training their students will need for a better future.
There are roughly 700 students enrolled across the three campus locations. Women comprise about 85% of the total student population.
STVT does not have campus housing, but the school will help students arrange housing through the various apartment locator and apartment management services in the area. The Career Services office provides assistance in preparation of resumes, cover letters, and interviewing skills; and also disseminates information on job availability and provides part-time job placement assistance while students are attending school.
