Southeastern Technical College, a public, two-year institution, was formed after a merger between Southeastern Technical College and Swainsboro Technical College. The college is located in southeast Georgia, and serves eight counties, including Candler, Emanuel, Montgomery, Tattnall, Toombs, and Treutlen.

Southeastern Technical College is a part of the Technical College System of Georgia. The main campus of STC is located in Vidalia. The college offers a variety of courses in Health Sciences, Business and Industrial technologies.

Southeastern Technical College operates a number of student organizations, including HEROES, Skills USA, Phi Beta Lambda, and Student Member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association.
