Southern University at Shreveport, Louisiana, or Southern University at Shreveport, also known as SUSLA, is a campus of the Southern University System. It was established on September 19, 1967. The university offers a wide variety of associate degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. SUSLA is organized into the following academic divisions:

SUSLA’s athletics department sponsors both men’s and women’s sports teams. The sports teams participate in the Division I level and are members of the MISS-LOU Conference. SUSLA’s sports teams are nicknamed the Jaguars. The campus also hosts a wide variety of student clubs and organizations.
