Southwest Texas Junior College is a comprehensive, public, two-year college, located in Uvalde, Texas. The college comprises four campuses, which serve eleven counties in southwest Texas. These campuses are situated in Uvalde County, Del Rio, Maverick County and Crystal City. The college offers an array of degrees and programs to its students.

SWTJC’s athletic department fields both men’s and women’s sports teams, which participate in a variety of sports and are nicknamed the Cowboys. The campuses are also home to several student clubs and organizations like the Catholic clubs, Gaming club and the Education club.
