St Philips College

St. Philip's College, or SPC, is among the oldest and most diverse community colleges in the United States. It was established in the year 1898. The college operates on a semester basis and enrolls more than 10,000 credit students and over 5,000 continuing education students. SPC offers more than 60 different academic and technical degrees in a variety of disciplines. It prepares students pursuing an industrial or technical career through a certificate or associate degree program.

SPC's Southwest Campus is a major satellite operation of the college. It plays a significant role as the primary center for technical and industrial training and education in the South Texas region.
