Overview
Stratford Career Institute (SCI) is a distance-education school established in 1991. SCI offers more than 60 at-home vocational training programs (including a high school diploma program) to students in a wide variety of career fields. Via home study, SCI makes it possible for students to upgrade existing skills or learn new ones at a time and place that is convenient for them.

Students can earn a high school diploma from home through Stratford. In addition, SCI offers over 60 programs of study in a wide variety of fields. These programs can be chosen from any of the following general categories:
Admissions
Admissions counselors are always available to anyone who requires enrollment information. They can be contacted online, via e-mail, or by toll-free phone.
Faculty
All of SCI's career training courses are designed by experts in the fields of business and distance learning. SCI's qualified instructors are available to give personal assistance via toll-free phone or e-mail whenever students have a question.
Student Body
Most of SCI's students are serious, career-minded individuals who have come to realize the true value of marketable skills in today’s increasingly demanding work force. Many of them have families and demanding schedules; both of which conflict with the rigid scheduling of classes in conventional school settings.
Student Life
The distance learning student experience replaces the requirement to attend classes with independent study at home, at a time and pace that is most convenient to the student. All educational materials are delivered directly to the student's door. Qualified instructors are only an e-mail or toll-free call away for assistance, and online tools are used to take exams, obtain grades and more. Since the student is studying at his/her own pace, courses can be completed in as little as six months, or if the student prefers, may take up to two years to earn a career diploma.
