Overview of Suburban Tech
The Suburban Technical School (Suburban Tech) is an institution of higher education which offers career-focused programs leading to professional careers in health care. The campus is located in Hempstead, New York, which is situated on Long Island, approximately 40 minutes from New York City. Suburban Tech is a member of the Premier Education Group, owners and operators of three other regional schools: Branford Hall Career Institute, Seacoast Career Schools, and the Salter School.

Areas of Study
Suburban Tech's single program of study is its Medical Assistant program. The program prepares students for an entry-level position in health care as a physician's assistant in a medical clinic, doctor's office, or other medical facility. Students spend almost one third of their course time in a lab environment gaining hands-on experience. The program also provides an internship, giving students first-hand experience in a real-world environment. The Medical Assistant program can be completed in less than a year.
Suburban Tech Admissions
The enrollment process can be started quickly and easily. Applicants must possess a high school degree or GED equivalent. Applications can be initiated online or by contacting the school.
Suburban Tech Faculty Quality
Faculty members are carefully chosen for their broad experience, specialized training, and diverse educational and civic interests. Instructors are creative, supportive, and effective.
Suburban Tech Student Body
The school services over 200 students. The large majority of students are working adults and individuals who are leading lives replete with work and/or family responsibilities.
Suburban Tech Student Life
Suburban Tech is a commuter school. Its 19,000 square-foot Hempstead campus facility is comprised of medical labs, computer labs, lecture rooms, a student lounge, and a library. The facility offers a modern and comfortable learning environment for the school's students. Suburban Tech also offers its students and alumni a full range of career services.
