Sul Ross State University, also known as SRSU, is located in Alpine, Texas, United States. It was established in the year 1917 as Sul Ross Normal College. SRSU was named in honor of Lawrence Sullivan Ross, former Texas governor and Civil War general. It gained university status in 1969. SRSU offers degrees through its academic schools, which are:

  • School of Professional Studies
