The College at Brockport, also known as SUNY College at Brockport, is a four-year liberal arts college located in Brockport, Monroe County, New York. It was established in the year 1867. SUNY College at Brockport is a constituent college of the State University of New York (SUNY) and belongs to the Tier 2 within the SUNY system. It offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse fields of study.
SUNY College at Brockport’s campus played host to the International Special Olympics on August, 1979. Their sports teams are nicknamed the Golden Eagles and their mascot is Ellsworth. Some of the notable alumni of the college are James Howard Kunstler, author and social critic; Craig A. Conway, former President and CEO, PeopleSoft, Inc; William Fichtner, American character actor.
