SUNY College of Technology at Alfred, also known as Alfred State or ASC, is located in Alfred, New York, Allegany County, United States. It was established in 1908 as the Agricultural and Technical College at Alfred. The college offers baccalaureate degrees in more than 12 areas, associate degrees in more than 50 areas, and several certificate programs. The university is organized into the following academic schools:
ASC offers various sports teams and programs. Their athletic teams are known as the Pioneers. The college is a member of the NJCAA Region III, Division III. The Pioneers compete in the Western New York Athletic Conference (WNYAC) and the Northeast Football Conference (NFC).
Alfred State is in a self-contained town, in Alfred, NY. The school is classified as a public college. Students at Alfred State earn degrees up to the Bachelor's degree.
