SUNY Empire State College

Empire State College, or ESC, is one of the arts and science colleges of the State University of New York (SUNY). It was founded in the year 1971. ESC is a multi-site institution that offers various degrees ranging from associate and bachelor to master degrees in diverse areas of study.

Empire State College also runs a center for international programs and special programs for students in Lebanon, Czech Republic, and Greece. The college also provides flexible programs, distance education, wide-ranging transfers of credits from other universities, knowledge gained through independent studies, standardized evaluations, and the prospect to design one's own degree with an academic advisor or mentor.
