Taft College is a public community college located in Taft, California. It was founded on August 30, 1922 as Taft Junior College and was part of the Taft Union High School District. It was renamed as Taft College on July 1, 1954. The independent campus of the college is situated adjacent to the high school. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study.
Taft College’s athletic department offers various athletic teams (men and women) that participate in various sports such as soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball, and softball. They compete in the Central Valley Conference.
