The Community College of Baltimore County, or CCBC, is an accredited community college located in Baltimore County, Maryland, in the United States. It was established in 1957. It offers more than 50 associate degrees and over 90 certificate programs in diverse areas of study through its three campuses:
The athletic teams of CCBC compete for state, regional, and national championships in men's and women's sports. CCBC Dundalk’s sports teams are nicknamed the Lions; CCBC Essex’s are the Knights, and CCBC Catonsville’s are known as the Cardinals. Some of the notable alumni of the college include Mike Rowe, popular host of the show "Dirty Jobs on Discovery Channel" and Jeff Nelson, All-Star MLB relief pitcher.
