Thomas College was founded as the Keist Business College in 1894. It was renamed Morgan Business College in 1896, and again renamed the Morgan-Thomas Business College in 1911. It was given its current name in 1962. The campus of this non-sectarian, private, coeducational college is located in Waterville, Maine.

Thomas College offers a number of associate's, bachelor's, and master's degree programs. Students can choose from courses in the fields of accounting, financial analysis, business, communications, computer information systems, criminal justice, early childhood education, general studies, pre-law, sports management, and marketing.

Thomas College fields baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball teams. It is a member of the NCAA Division III.
