Thomas Nelson Community College, or TNCC, is a two-year college located in southeastern Virginia. It was founded in 1968. The college has two campuses, one located in Hampton and the other in Williamsburg. TNCC is one of the colleges that fall under the Virginia Community College System. It was named after Thomas Nelson, an American soldier, planter, politician, and signer of the Declaration of Independence.
TNCC mostly serves students from the Peninsula region of Hampton Roads as well as students from other parts of southeastern Virginia. It offers 50 associate degree programs and has more than 60 certificate programs in diverse areas of study.
