Launched as Beckley College in 1918, Thompson Institute has a long history of preparing its career-minded enrollees for the rigors of the working world. The school’s campus is situated in the University City area, a section of Philadelphia near other brand name universities.

Thompson Institute focuses on two main career areas: Allied Health Care and becoming an Electrician. Successful completion of each particular program leads a Diploma.
Thompson Institute Admissions and Financial Aid
In order to be considered for a slot in the school, applicants are required to either have completed high school or possess a high school equivalence credential. However, those who do not meet this requirement may still be eligible if they pass a certain competency test and are of a certain minimum age.
Qualified attendees of Thompson Institute are eligible to receive Federal Pell grants, Perkins loans, and other forms of monetary assistance. The school’s financial aid office is available to help students understand their options.
