Tri-County Technical College is an independent, non-profit organization located in the westernmost tip of North Carolina. It was chartered in 1982. The college is a member of the North Carolina Community College System. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It also offers adult education and vocational training courses.
Tri-County Technical College’s athletics department sponsors both men’s and women’s sports teams, which are known as the Hawks. They participate in the NJCAA Division I. The Tri-County Communicator is the student newspaper of the college.
