Trocaire College is a junior college specializing in health care education. It is located in Buffalo, New York and was founded by the Sisters of Mercy as Sancta Maria College in 1958. In 1967, it adopted its current name. The college became coeducational in 1972. Trocaire College currently offers more than 15 associate's degree programs and 10 certificate programs.
Apart from health care training, it also provides students with the opportunity to pursue career-oriented majors like early childhood education. Trocaire College was one of the first private colleges in western New York to offer an Associate's Degree program in Nursing. It is home to more than ten student clubs and organizations, as well as a chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
