Tuskegee University is located in Tuskegee, Alabama, United States. It was founded in the year 1881. Students are offered degrees through the five academic colleges of the university, which are:

  • College of Business and Information Sciences
  • College of Engineering, Architecture and Physical Sciences
  • College of Liberal Arts and Education
  • College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health

Students of Tuskegee University can participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, football, softball, cross country, track, tennis, and volleyball. The university's athletic teams are called the Golden Tigers. There are several Greek organizations including Kappa Alpha Psi, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.
