Tyler Junior College, popularly referred to as TJC, was established in the year 1926. It is a two-year community college situated in Tyler, Texas. The campus is set on nearly 75 acres of land. TJC registers over 12,000 credit students every year. Apart from its main campus, the college has a West Campus used mainly for vocational training and continuing education programs.

TJC has on-campus housing that can accommodate over 600 students in eight residence halls. The college offers associate in arts degree, associate in applied science degree, and certificate of proficiency programs to the students.

Tyler Junior College’s athletics teams are nicknamed Apache and the official colors are white, black, and gold. The college has tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, and football teams. The sports teams of TJC participate in National Junior College Athletic Association's Region XIV.
