Union University is a four-year institution located in Jackson, Tennessee, United States. It was established in 1823 as Jackson Male Academy. The main campus spreads across an area of more than 280 acres. It includes a 2,200 seat gymnasium, a swimming pool, and wellness center. The university also has additional campuses in Germantown, Tennessee, Hendersonville, and Tennessee.
Union University’s athletics department sponsors several men’s and women’s sports teams. They participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. They also have a cheerleading team. Their teams are nicknamed the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs. They compete in the NAIA and TranSouth Conference. The campus is also home to a wide variety of student clubs and organizations.
