At Universal Technical Institute students are able to enroll in a range of technical and mechanical areas of study. Univeral Technical Institute specializes in training students to pursue careers as professional automotive, diesel, collision repair, motorcycle, and marine technicians. All campuses are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The Universal Technical Institute campuses offer dilpoma or cerification programs. However, the UTI Phoenix campus is also approved to provide an Associates of Occupational Studies degree.

Classes at Universal Technical Institute begin approximately every 3-6 weeks depending on the location. Admissions may vary from campus to campus but typically a high school diploma is required.
