University of Advancing Technology, also known as UAT, is a for-profit, institution of higher education located in Tempe, Arizona, United States. Established in 1983, the institution provides unique core classes as well as all traditional ones. UAT offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in diverse areas of study. It also offers online continuing education programs to its students.

University of Advancing Technology offers an active life for the students. The campus hosts student clubs and organizations like T.A.P.S. (The Academic Paranormal Society), LAN Committee, Quarter Circle Forward (QCF), and Anime Club. The university offers several types of financial aid to the students.
