The University of Maine at Farmington, also known as UMF, is a public college of liberal arts located in Farmington, Maine, United States. It was established in the year 1864. It is one of the founding members of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. UMF has been awarded one of the top ranks among the 'liberal arts schools' by U.S. News & World Report for ten consecutive years (1998-2008).
