University of Mary Hardin Baylor, commonly referred to as UMHB, is located in Belton, Texas, United States. It was founded in the year 1845 by the Republic of Texas. The first classes were offered in 1846. Students can choose from different academic programs in the fields of nursing, business administration, computer studies, communication, and medicine, among others. UMHB's academic divisions are:
