The University of Missouri-St. Louis, also known as UMSL, is one of four universities in the University of Missouri System. It was founded in 1963. In 2007, UMSL's information systems business faculty were ranked 3rd in the nation in productivity. The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs through the following academic divisions:
