The University of North Dakota, also known as UND, is a public university located in Grand Forks, North Dakota, United States. It was established by the Dakota Territorial Assembly in 1883. UND offers bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees in a wide variety of subjects. The university is organized into the following academic divisions:
University of North Dakota’s sports teams are nicknamed the Fighting Sioux. The men's ice hockey team has won more than five national championships.

The range of program offerings available from the school is especially impressive compared to its number of students. Students at University Of North Dakota often study transportation.
