The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, also known as UW-Stevens Point or UWSP, is a public university located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, United States. It was established in the year 1894. UWSP is part of the University of Wisconsin System. The university grants baccalaureate, associate, and master degrees in various subjects to students.
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point's radio station is WWSP-FM. The athletics department of the university fields both men’s and women’s sports teams. They participate in a variety of sports. UWSP’s official mascot is Stevie and Stephanie Pointer. The sports teams are nicknamed the Pointers.
