Utah State University, or USU, is a public land-grant university located in Logan, Utah. It was originally founded in 1888 as the Agricultural College of Utah. It became Utah State University in 1957. The Princeton Review (2009 edition) ranked Utah State University as "Best western 120 schools 2009". USU has old ties with the Department of Defense and NASA. The university offers a wide variety of degrees in more than 200 majors. USU is organized into 7 academic colleges:

Utah State University's sports teams are nicknamed the Aggies.
