Valencia Community College, or VCC, is a multi-campus college located in Orlando, Florida, United States. It was established in 1967 as Valencia Junior College and was renamed Valencia Community College in 1971. The college has several campuses in Orlando. More than 50,000 students enroll at this college every year.
VCC is ranked second in the country for the number of associate degrees awarded. The college offers AA Pre-Majors and certificate programs that lead to immediate entry into the workforce.
The sports teams of VCC participate in intramural sports and are unofficially nicknamed the Matadors. The Matadors have won several national community college championships at the NAQT and Six State championships.
