Vance-Granville Community College, also known as VGCC, is a community college located in North Carolina. It was founded in 1969 as Vance County Technical Institute (VCTI) by the North Carolina General Assembly. Vance-Granville also operates three satellite campuses in North Carolina. One of the 58 schools that comprise the North Carolina Community College System, the college enrolls more than 5,000 students annually. VGCC offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse area of study.

VGCC fields several men’s and women’s sports teams and the college is a part of the National Junior College Athletic Association in Region X. Their sports teams are nicknamed the Vanguards.
