Warner Southern College, which was established by the Southeastern Association of the Church of God in 1968, was then situated in Anderson, Indiana. In 2008, the institute was renamed Warner University. The main campus of this coeducational Christian liberal arts university is located on 380 acres in Lake Wales, Florida. The athletics department fields teams in basketball, baseball, softball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. Nicknamed the Royals and the Lady Royals, the teams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and The Sun Conference.
