Warner Southern College, which was established by the Southeastern Association of the Church of God in 1968, was then situated in Anderson, Indiana. In 2008, the institute was renamed Warner University. The main campus of this coeducational Christian liberal arts university is located on 380 acres in Lake Wales, Florida. In addition, Warner University operates the following extension sites in Florida:

  • Lakeland Learning Center
  • Melbourne - Space Coast Learning Center
  • Orlando Learning Center
  • Titusville Class Site

Warner University offers the Associate of Arts, and the Bachelor of Arts degrees. Students can also opt for master's degree programs in business administration, education, and science. Several adult education programs are also available. The university has the following academic divisions:

  • School of Business
  • School of Professional Studies

The student body of Warner University includes representatives from over 20 states and more than 15 countries across the world. The athletics department fields teams in basketball, baseball, softball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. Nicknamed the Royals and the Lady Royals, the teams compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, and The Sun Conference.
